This hair type is from one single donor where the cuticles are aligned in onr direction. It is the most superior hair that can be difficult to procure in any hair extension. It looks and feels natural and blends seamlessly with your own hair. It doesn’t tangle and lasts forever. At Hairplay, we only recommend the use of donor hair for all hair extensions.
PREMIUM HAIR
This hair is collected from multiple donors and is processed to look smooth and shiny. Ideal for tape extensions, clip ons, ponytails. Will extensions damage my natural hair?
When installed correctly and maintained on time, extensions can be safe. Most issues come from poor application, too much tension, or leaving bonds in too long, which can cause matting and breakage risk.
Why does it look like so much hair falls out when extensions are removed?
Some shedding is normal, we all lose hair daily. With extensions, shed hair can stay trapped in the bond, so you see it all at once during removal. It’s scary but often expected.
Tapes or capsules, what’s better?
Tapes can be quicker and lower to start, but may need more frequent re-applications and can be sensitive to oils/heat near the adhesive. Capsules are strand-by-strand, very discreet, and often allow more natural movement — but can cost more initially. The best choice depends on your hair + routine.
Keratin or Ice, what’s better?
